Del Webb's Sun City West was first developed from 1978 to 1997, with a new Four Seasons phase currently being built by K. Hovnanian. With more than 16,000 homes, there are a wide variety of housing styles to match the preferences and budgets of almost any buyer. Over 140 different models offered. Homes for sale in Sun City West include single-family homes or attached homes. The single-family homes range in size from 800 to over 4,600 square feet. Attached homes include a variety of ranch villas and apartment-style flats that range from about 760 to 1,880 square feet.

 

Homes in Sun City West may include features such as open-concept floor plans, screened patios, walk-in closets, granite countertops, and tile flooring. Upgrades, such as updated kitchens, private pools, and custom lighting, are also available in some homes.

 

Four Seasons at Sun City West by K. Hovnanian features three floor plans ranging from 1,511 to 1,736 square feet. These one-story, single-family homes include two bedrooms, two- to two-and-a-half bathrooms, and attached two-car garages. Additional features include spacious owner's suites with spa baths, great rooms, and a den option with one plan.

Sun City West is a 16,900-home community 2.5 miles west of the original Sun City Arizona. Del Webb constructed this community of attached and single-family homes between 1978 and 1997. Residents have access to the well-appointed recreation centers of Sun City West and activities that cater to homeowners wanting to stay physically and socially active. The community was designed to intertwine with a variety of retail stores and shopping centers. Most residents find that all of their shopping needs can be accomplished with a short trip down the golf-cart-legal streets.

Sun City West Amenities

Sun City West features a wide selection of amenities, including four recreation centers, seven golf courses, and nine restaurants. The recreation centers house a variety of attractions such as indoor and outdoor pools, state-of-the-art fitness centers, indoor and outdoor walking tracks, ballrooms, dance studios, hobby and craft rooms, a theater, and a library.

 

The largest activity center in Arizona, the R.H. Johnson Center is spread across 48 acres and includes six activity areas with 118,000 square feet of amenities under one roof. The Palm Ridge Center clubhouse in Sun City West has three pools including one outdoors and two indoors, plus a large fitness center, tennis courts, an indoor walking track, a ballroom, and clubrooms. The Beardsley Center features an Olympic-size indoor pool, a fitness center, club and meeting rooms, a mini-golf course, horseshoes, a greenhouse, and a park with shady picnic pavilions. A fourth clubhouse, the Kuentz Center includes an exercise room, an outdoor pool, tennis courts, a walking track, a softball field, club and meeting rooms, a woodworking shop, and the Stardust Theatre.
